Tree & Stump Removal
When a tree gets too big and threatens to fall on top of your house or property, the best option is to have it removed safely before it causes damage that can be expensive to repair or even worse, dangerous to the lives of your family or your neighbors' family. Removing dangerous trees is a very difficult task, the process needs to be done carefully to ensure nothing gets damaged, there are many different ways to approach a dangerous looking tree. Instead of attempting it yourself and potentially putting lives at risk, get the help of a trained professional to take care of it all for you.
Stump Grinding Process
When a tree is removed the stump is left behind and can be extremely difficult to get out by hand or with hand tools. Sometimes the roots come up with the tree when it gets removed, but more often than not the stump remains to be dealt with once the tree is no longer standing. Instead of standing around with shovels for a few days trying to dig around a complex root system, a stump grinder can be used to grind away the material of the stump, removing all of the stump thats above the ground and only leaving the deep roots that will slowly break down and compost into the ground below.
When a stump gets removed, the roots normally are left behind because most times they travel deep below the ground, and with the tree removed they end up dying and turning into a natural compost for the soil around it. But in some cases the roots travel along the top surface of the soil and can cause havoc for things like underground services or nearby pathways. These roots can also be removed using the stump grinder and sometimes a bit of manual labor to rip them up by hand. We can use a combination of the tools we have available on your tree removal to make sure that all parts of the tree are removed efficiently, including the roots.
Environmentally Friendly Chemicals
Sometimes the most effective way to get rid of a stump is to kill the root system - this is achieved by using special chemicals that kill only the tree and not anything in the soil around it. We use specially designed formulas that are completely safe for pets and any other plants in your yard. The last thing we want is to kill off your entire garden trying to kill one tree. The chemicals we use are also environmentally friendly, being gentle on the soil.
